Read With Andi
Individualized Reading Support

“Miss Andi has been invaluable working with our child. Our daughter was entering first grade and didn’t know most of her letter sounds. After working with Andi for a few months the improvement is remarkable. Andi engages our daughter and makes learning truly fun. Our daughter looks forward to her visits with Andi and always comes away feeling confident and excited about reading. Part of the success is the program that Andi uses to teach letter sounds and reading, but part of the success our daughter is finding is because of Andi herself. She’s engaging, motivating, and uses all modalities to help our daughter learn. The learning is being retained because of how Andi approaches the skills she’s teaching. We are truly indebted to Andi for helping our daughter to read. She’s been a true partner in working toward the successes our daughter has had. We tell everyone, “Miss Andi is magic!”, but really she’s just great at her job! Thank you, Andi!”

“Ms. Andi is the absolute best! She is extremely patient and always makes learning fun! Over the summer we were referred to Ms. Andi though a friend. At that time, my five year old son had no interest in reading. He didn’t even know all of the letters of the alphabet and/or the sounds that the letters made. He was not motivated and as a parent it was hard to help him. We started out once a week with Ms. Andi; however, we quickly ended up doing twice a week because he always loved going and was showing great success and improvement with his sound and letter recognition, knowledge of sight words, and most importantly his motivation in learning to read. Edward is now in the highest reading group in Kindergarten! He has grown so much academically since starting Ms. Andi’s reading program. We have recommended Ms. Andi to many friends and they too have been so pleased with their child’s progress. She has given Edward the gift of reading.”

“Andi is an amazing tutor for my son! She is patient and engaging. Everything she does with him is at the perfect level which is challenging, but at the same time makes him feel like he’s excelling. He leaves each tutoring session talking about new reading and writing strategies that he has learned. He actually looks forward to going to tutor which is shocking to me. My husband and I have seen more advances from his once a week tutoring sessions with Andi than we have in three years of elementary school. Even my son agrees and feels really lucky that he has Andi to help him. He recently completed his first book report with Andi’s help. I know it would have been a disastrous project if Andi wasn’t able to give him the tools and strategies to allow him to write this with confidence. He has two more reports due this year and he’s actually excited to start them. Andi has helped change his attitude toward reading and writing. We plan to keep tutoring with Andi as long as possible!!! We feel extremely thankful that we found her!”

“My daughter has been working with Andi Simpson for almost a year. We have seen an improvement in her reading and spelling since she started. Even our daughter’s teacher has seen significant improvements in her fluency and accuracy. Our daughter’s reading comprehension has also improved. She has developed more confidence in her spelling and reading since starting with Andi.
Our daughter loves her tutoring sessions and really enjoys working with Andi. Andi has a way of making learning fun for the student. We were so pleased with Andi’s ability to recognize our daughter’s reading challenges and structure her tutoring to tackle those problem areas.
I would recommend Andi to any family who has concerns about their child’s reading, spelling, or reading comprehension.”

“Because of Andi my son has gained confidence in reading and writing. It is a joy to see him grow and not feel like he is behind with any of his classmates. I appreciate her honesty and willingness to try new techniques that work with my child and his needs. It is refreshing to have a specialist be willing to listen and find out the best way to approach a successful path for learning.
Andi looks at the child as a whole rather than what is deficient on the surface. She takes a holistic approach that addresses more than just reading or writing issues, but that there may be other issues at play. In doing so, she gains the child’s trust and they are more open to being vulnerable with her and that allows Andi to really dive in and find a solution that works.
Her assistance is perfect for anyone struggling. Moms who need more support with their children that is evidence and fact based and any child who just needs a little more guidance tailored to their personality.”

“We appreciate Andi’s availability, her flexibility, and her unique way in which she engages with her students. My son feels comfortable with Andi, and actually looks forward to his tutoring session once a week. She has helped my son with reading when he needed it, and now we’re working on writing and comprehension. She uses fun and unique ways to engage my son so he loves his session every week. Thank you!”
Vanessa, parent of a 3rd grader

“Ms. Andi has helped my son so much with his reading! He has an auditory processing disorder and a visual processing disorder, and Andi has been able to work with him in a way that meets his individual needs. He has improved so much, not only with his reading skills but also with his confidence. Before starting with Andi, reading was only bringing my son tears and frustration and now we are seeing pride and success! We are so happy with his progress!”
